What is Molina Complete Care for MyCare Ohio?
It's a program to provide better, coordinated health care for people with both Medicare and Medicaid, often called dual eligible or duals. In Ohio, this is called MyCare Ohio.

Why join a MyCare Ohio Plan?
By combining the two, you get Medicare and Medicaid services plus prescription drugs in one plan. To make it even easier, a care coordinator and care team works with you to ensure you get all the services you need.

We understand that your health and well-being is what matters the most. By coordinating all your Medicare and Medicaid benefits under one plan, Molina Complete Care for MyCare Ohio offers health care focused on your unique needs.

This means you create your care team. Doctors, nurses, a care coordinator and other health professionals will be ready to provide the care you need, all under one plan. And that means one Member ID for both Medicare and Medicaid benefits. You don't pay extra to join.

Can I keep my current doctor and other care providers?
We know it's important to you to keep receiving care without interruption. That's why we work with you and your doctors to make sure you get what you need. For a time after you join Molina Complete Care for MyCare Ohio, you may be able to continue to receive care from a provider that is not a network provider. This is called transition of care. Transition of care is important to ensure a smooth transition to our health plan and can last from 90 days up to a year. Your care team will work to add your providers to the Molina MyCare Ohio network. Meanwhile, you must still call Member Services before seeing your provider.

After the time period you must get all your covered services from providers who work with Molina Complete Care for MyCare Ohio. These are "in-network" providers. Your doctor must agree to work with Molina Complete Care for MyCare Ohio.

How will enrollment work?
The Ohio Department of Medicaid sent you a letter about the upcoming Open Enrollment Period. To keep Molina Complete Care for MyCare Ohio for your Medicaid benefits, you do not need to do anything. If you are a Molina MyCare Ohio Medicaid member and do not get your benefits from Molina, you need to choose Molina Complete Care for MyCare Ohio for your Medicare benefits, too. You'll get extra benefits!
